- Account: first name, last name, email address, organisation, login credentials.
- Listings: published content (container type, port, availability, business contact details).
- Technical: IP address, connection logs, browsing data (see our Cookie Policy).
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Providing the Service and managing user accounts — performance of a contract.
- Ensuring security and preventing fraud — legitimate interest.
- Audience measurement and communication — consent (via the cookie banner).
- Compliance with legal obligations — legal obligation.
4. Data retention
Account data is retained for as long as you use the Service, then archived or deleted in accordance with applicable statutory retention periods. Technical data is retained for a maximum of 13 months.
5. Recipients
Data is accessible only to authorised PortChief staff and to its technical processors (hosting, email delivery). No data is sold to third parties. Data is hosted in France (European Union) and is not transferred outside the EU.
6. Data security
PortChief implements appropriate technical and organisational measures (access control, encrypted communications, backups) to protect data against unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure.
7. Your rights (GDPR)
In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You may exercise these rights at any time via our Contact us page. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr).
